WENDI ALBRO
Wendi began her career in movement and wellness in 2005 after completing her Pilates training at the Ellie Herman Studio in San Francisco. Having grown up with the intense demands of competitive gymnastics, she is no stranger to injuries and chronic pain due to hypermobility. This experience has greatly influenced her approach to continuing education and her contemporary, anatomical-based method of using Pilates not just as exercise, but as a means of rehabilitation.

Patient and dedicated, Wendi enjoys helping clients become more attuned to their bodies through movement. She presents opportunities to build body awareness and strength, increase range of motion, and improve balance, all while ensuring that the experience is safe and fun. Her goal is to create positive movement experiences that foster a sense of curiosity and gratitude for the body’s remarkable structure and its innate ability to heal and adapt.

Wendi has experience working with a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, scoliosis, various back conditions, hypermobility, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements (pre and post-op), pre and post-natal clients, aging adults, athletic conditioning, and fibromyalgia. She has the ability to regress and progress movement patterns, making it accessible to everyone.

Eager to expand her skill set, Wendi attended East West College of the Healing Arts and became a licensed massage therapist in 2017. She now offers both massage and Pilates and often integrates the two, She currently uses a Swedish style with a strong emphasis on anatomically specific deep tissue work and trigger point therapy.

Before opening her own practice, Wendi was a senior trainer at Studio Blue Pilates for over a decade, which was voted Best Pilates Studio by the Willamette Week four years in a row.

In her spare time, Wendi enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, traveling, and reading.
